Dee - General Manager

I graduated from Indiana University Northwest 2001. I have been a part of Dr. Sim’s team since graduation. I am the Treatment Coordinator, as well as a hygienist. I love helping patients accomplish their dental goals. I enjoy spending my spare time with my daughter and friends camping and reading.

Destinie - General Manager

I have been in the dental field since 2002, Jon and I have been blessed with two amazing little boys. My favorite activity outside of work is spending time with my family. I also speak Spanish fluently. I enjoy working with Dr. Sim, and our team. I love helping patients achieve their dental goals

Cara - Office Manager

I have been with Dr. Sim and the Family Dental Care family since October 2018. I’m really enjoying working in such an interesting field, and enjoy more knowing I’m doing this alongside with not just co-workers, but an AMAZING work family. I am blessed with a beautiful daughter Mia. She is truly my best friend and greatest challenge at life. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my daughter, family and friends.

Julie - Insurance Manager

I have been with Family Dental Care as a receptionist since February 2011. I have been married to my wonderful husband, John, since 1994. We have five beautiful children that keep us very busy. I love to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy gardening, doing home improvements and shopping!

I have been with Family Dental Care since June 2016. I have been married to my husband Justin since May 2012. We have two adorable children together. They sure keep our lives busy and full of laughs. Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy crafting and shopping.

Lisa

Hi my name is Lisa. I have been working at Family Dental Care since 2017. I have been married for 29 years and I have two beautiful daughters. In my spare time , I enjoy going to the movies, shopping and spending time with friends and family.

Leah

Hi, my name is Leah and I’ve been with Dr. Sim’s team since September 2020. I graduated from Indiana State University with my Bachelor’s degree in Science. Being part of the administration team here is amazing, I get to work with a wonderful staff and the best doctor! In my spare time, I love spending time with family and, of course, shopping! I’m so glad I am able to take part in making our patients smile each and every day!

Kaitlyn

Hi my name is Kaitlyn and I’ve been with Dr. Sim since June of 2021. I love being able to come here everyday and expand my knowledge in the dental industry. It makes me happy being able to welcome all of our patients and grow relationships with all of them. In my free time i like to spend time outdoors with friends and family.

I started working for the practice in 2019. I have a B.A. in Communications from Indiana University Northwest. I am grateful for the opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills as the practice continues to grow. In my spare time, I love to relax at home with my husband, son, and daughter.

Carissa - Lead Assistant

I joined Dr Sims team in 2012. The highlight of my career is the excitement on our patient faces when we’ve transformed a beautiful smile for them. Tears of joy from patients is unexplainable…. Here’s a little about myself, I’ve been married since Jan. Of 2020. In my free time I enjoy traveling and going on new adventures!

Gail - Lead Assistant

I am one of Dr. Sim’s assistants. I’ve been working with Dr Sim since 2013. I enjoy giving patient’s the smile of their dreams! When I’m not with my work family I love spending time with my family watching movies, and TV shows.

Claudia - Efda Lead

I have been working with Dr. Sim and this amazing team since 2012. I enjoy building relationships with our patients. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and watching movies.

Emily

I am a graduate from the University of Southern Indiana, where I received my Bachelors in Science and Health Care Services and Dental Assisting. For 12 years I have been in this field, and in 2017 I was given the opportunity to join this amazing dental team to continue what I love to do – change patients’ lives one smile at a time. When I’m not in the office, I’m out spending time and spoiling my three nieces and nephew. My family will always be the biggest part of my life. I don’t know what I’d do without them and God in my life. And coffee… definitely need my coffee!

I joined Family Dental Care in July 2020. I went from being a patient to team member and have learned so much. On my free time I enjoy spending time with loved ones and my dogs!

Alyssia

I have been with Dr. Sim’s team since July of 2020 and I am proud to say that I love what I do. Being a part of this amazing team has taught me so much about not only being a good person, but also being a great Dental assistant. I am currently a student at Ivy Tech community college and I am studying for my nursing degree. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I am looking forward to continuing to grow with Dr. Sim and his amazing team!

Krestan

I have been with Dr. Sim’s team since March of 2021. I am passionate about my ability to create a safe and friendly atmosphere while greeting every patient with a smile. I completed my dental assistant training course with DATS of Northwest Indiana in 2018, and I hold my license in radiology, as well as expanded functions. I am from a small town in rural Newton county and enjoy riding my Harley Davidson, spending time with my boyfriend, girl’s days with my mom and sister, and cuddling on the couch with my dog.

Ann Thomas

I’ve been working for Dr. Sim since 2004 . I have a wonderful husband, 3 grown children and several grandchildren. In my free time I have several things I like to do as in working out, biking, camping, hiking and taking long motorcycle rides but most of all I like spending my time with my grandchildren.

I’m a Dental Assistant who graduated from Kaplan College in 2016. Im passionate about helping comfort and build patients confidence in the dental chair. On my free time away from work I love to fish, listen to music and be with my family, who our my biggest supporters!

Nicole

Hi, I’m Nicole. I am part of Dr. Sim’s amazing team! I am a dental assistant and have been for a little over 6+ years now. I love being able to have the opportunity to make patients confident in their smile and overall health In my free time I enjoy being with my family, and getting the chance to explore the outdoors when I am not swamped in school work or studying. My favorite thing about working with Dr. Sim is that he truly cares about his staff , but most importantly treating his patients with the best care possible and educating them to better their health.

Raygan

Hi my name is Raygan. I’ve been working for Dr. Sim since the beginning of 2022. In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping, boating, and traveling. My favorite thing about working for Dr. Sim is seeing all of the patients walk out with confident smiles!

Hope

Hi, I’m Hope. My amazing journey with Dr sim has just begun. I’ve always had an interest in the dental field since my junior year of high school. I went to Saint John dental assistant school and completed the program in June of 2021. I enjoy going to the gym, shopping, and hanging out with friends and family. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to learn, serve patients, and be a part of this team!

I have been a hygienist for 3 years. I am currently working on my bachelors degree in public health and my masters in health administration. I also have a one-year old daughter who keeps me very busy! I have one fur-baby, a yellow lab named Bailey. She and my daughter are best friends. In my free time I like to craft and spend time with family. I love being a dental hygienist, changing the world one smile at a time!

Aggy

Hello my name is Aggy. I’m a dental hygienist at Dr. Sims Office. I was born in Poland and moved here to the US when I was six. I speak Polish and English fluently. I graduated from Indiana University Northwest in 2005 and have been working as a dental hygienist with Dr. Sim since then. I love what I do and I love making patients happy. In my eye’s education is key.

Hilda

I have been with Dr. Sim’s team since 2019 and absolutely love what I do. I’m grateful to be able to play a part in making people feel confident in their smiles everyday. I have a beautiful little boy who lights up my world and keeps me on my toes. In my free time, you can find me relaxing with family and friends. I am looking forward to continue growing along with our amazing team!

Melissa

I joined Dr. Sim’s team in January 2021. I love working with such an awesome team. In my spare time I love spending time with my family and even doing a craft or two to relax. I have been so lucky to be a part of a growing team and cannot wait to see what the future holds.

Zayara

I have been a part of Dr. Sim’s team since July ‘21. I’m so grateful to be a part of such a supporting staff. In my free time you can find me at home re watching the same YouTube videos with my son.

Carly

Hi! I’m Carley. I’ve been working as an insurance coordinator with Dr. Sim’s team since 2021. Our team is passionate about patient care and is one big family, which is why I love working here so much. In my free time I like to play with my dog Izzy, kayak, be outdoors and travel.

Gabe

Hi, my name is Gabriel, but everyone calls me Gabe. I’ve been one of Doc’s patients for quite a while, and when I began working under him the Smiles team welcomed me with open arms and a lot of laughter. Whenever I have free time I’m usually with my best friend or at home playing video games.

Camya

Hi, I’m Camya. I joined Dr. Sim and his team in 2022 and I am proud to say what an amazing work family I am apart of. I enjoy contributing to making our environment even more easy going and efficient. In my free time I love to paint, explore new learning opportunities and bake.
